Little River Bassmasters

Some info about our club:

Club members gather for monthly meetings to talk about fishing and club business, with one fall meeting being held as end of year award banquet / family dinner. They also compete during the bass fishing season in a minuium of 11 tournaments in hopes of making the cut for the season’s end club Classic Tournament.

While the competition and camaraderie of fishing is key to this group, their community spirit runs strong. The club will team with the Georgia Bass Nation Federation to conduct a 2-evening “Casting For Kids” event. The first evening youngsters will be educated in such topics as Fish Identification, Lures, Fishing Knots, Boat Safety, and Casting. The second evening is the one the kids look forward to the most, because they will be treated to a couple hours of fishing along the banks of Clarks Hill Lake or the Savannah River. We hope we will host as many as 50 youngsters during the events, but only through donations from the community will no one go home empty handed.

This club is all about keeping fishing fun, with very affordable yearly dues and Club Tournament entry fees. We don’t compete just for the cash, but also for the fun of competition and the chance to learn a few tricks from one another.
